 Spurs set to finalise Davids deal      

 Edgar Davids will have a medical at    

 Spurs on Thursday before completing a  

 free transfer move from Inter Milan.   

                                        

 Spurs have an agreement in place with  

 Inter and the 32-year-old Holland      

 midfield player is expected to be      

 officially unveiled within days.       

                                        

 "He is one of the most versatile       

 midfielders, a playmaker, a ball-winner

 with great stamina and huge charisma," 

 said Spurs head coach Martin Jol.      

                                        

 "It's terrific that he is joining us.  

 He will lift the team's performance."
