 Actress Garner to be pregnant spy      

 Expectant actress Jennifer Garner's    

 character in TV spy thriller Alias is  

 also going to become pregnant, series  

 bosses have announced.                 

                                        

 "We are going to embrace the fact that 

 she's pregnant," said US network ABC's 

 programming chief Stephen McPherson.   

                                        

 But he added that she would not be     

 placed in situations which might       

 endanger her or the baby.              

                                        

 Garner and actor husband Ben Affleck   

 are expecting their first child at the 

 end of December.
