 Pearce leaves Five Live for TV         

 Football commentator Jonathan Pearce   

 has left BBC Radio Five Live to        

 concentrate on his television career.  

                                        

 Pearce, well known for his enthusiastic

 commentaries, is expected continue     

 working on BBC One's Match Of The Day. 

                                        

 Pearce, who has been with Five Live for

 four years, will be replaced by Mark   

 Saggers on the Sport On Five slot.     

                                        

 He began his career in radio in 1979   

 and has commentated on 150 England     

 internationals and 20 Cup Finals during

 his career to date.
