Manning dropped by Ganassi team
Englishman Darren Manning has lost his
drive at Indycar team Ganassi Racing.
Owner Chip Ganassi pointed in a
statement to Manning's failure to win a
race in the Indy Racing League as a
reason for the split.
Manning will not be replaced for
Sunday's race at Michigan, leaving
former IRL champion Scott Dixon and
Ryan Briscoe as Ganassi's drivers.
"The team does regret that we werenWt
able to bring him to the victory circle
in our time together," said Ganassi.
