 Sussex glee for Proclamation           

 Proclamation confirmed himself as a    

 colt of the very highest order with a  

 towering performance in the Group One  

 Sussex Stakes at Goodwood.             

                                        

 The son of King's Best was last to     

 exit the stalls and Mick Kinane had him

 anchored at the back early on.         

                                        

 He started to make ground around the   

 field when they entered the straight   

 and the improving 3yo showed a fine    

 burst of speed two furlongs out.       

                                        

 Soviet Song tried to peg him back but  

 could only get to within ½L.
