Wilshere joins Salford from Leigh
Leigh utility back Jon Wilshere has
signed a two-year deal with Salford.
The Centurions are 80 minutes away from
relegation and gave permission for
Wilshere to speak to other clubs once
their plight became clear.
The 27-year-old Papua New Guinean
joined Leigh from Warrington last
December and will see the season out
with them before moving to the Reds.
Salford have also been linked with
Warrington half-back Nathan Woob and St
Helens stand-off Jason Hooper.
