How much you will like this film
depends on two things - can you stomach
Will Ferrell, and how do you feel about
Americans and soccer?
The idea is catchy enough - obsessive
sports parent parody meets father-son
redemption riff.
And some of the gags and performances -
the cameo from famous NFL coach Mike
Ditka in particular - are okay.
But ultimately this is a mediocre
family flick that may prove to be a bit
of a trial for mum and dad.
