Stranded passengers offered help
Rival companies have been offering to
fly home passengers stranded by the
collapse of budget airline EUjet.
PlaneStation, which owns both EUjet and
Kent International Airport at Manston,
had its shares suspended on Monday and
went into administration on Tuesday.
Low fare carriers easyJet and Monarch
Scheduled are charging from £25 to fly
back some of the 5,000 holidaymakers
thought to be stuck abroad.
EUjet's commercial director insisted
the airport could operate again.
