 Column: Vintage movies become games

 Such games inevitably reduce cinematic 

 narrative and characterisation to a    

 more basic level, playing second fiddle

 to playable action.                    

                                        

 Games like The Godfather, Scarface and 

 The Warriors may prove decent enough   

 in themselves.                         

                                        

 But the whole situation is frankly     

 somewhat sad, an indication of culture 

 exploiting itself.                     

                                        

 Let's just hope these titles are better

 than... well, take your pick from      

 current movie-inspired video games.
