No stars for Leeds Hospital Trust
The UK's largest hospital trust has
received the lowest star rating in the
latest NHS performance figures released
by the Healthcare Commission.
Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trust was
given no stars out of a possible three
in the report published on Wednesday.
Trust chief executive Neil McKay said
the board accepted full responsibility
for the new rating but they were
surprised and disappointed by it.
Hospitals were assessed on areas such
as waiting times and cleanliness.
