 Rangers should just about have         

 recovered from the shock of winning the

 Scottish title by the time they have to

 start defending it comes around.       

                                        

 There have been significant changes at 

 Ibrox since the end of last season,    

 with a number of players arriving to   

 replace those who have left.           

                                        

 Alex McLeish would have preferred not  

 to have to rebuild to such an extent   

 and would certainly like more money.   

                                        

 But Rangers start the season as the    

 team to beat.
