 CAUSE FOR ALARM CAMPAIGN               

 Smoke alarms                           

                                        

 BBC Radio Sheffield has teamed up with 

 Fire and Rescue Services in South      

 Yorkshire and Derbyshire. The campaign 

 'Cause for Alarm' is prompted by the   

 high numbers of fires in homes which   

 were not fitted with smoke alarms.     

                                        

 You can call a special'hotline' on     

 0114 267 5444 to sign up for a free    

 household fire risk assessment check,  

 where community outreach officers visit

 your home to assess and reduce the risk

 of fire hazards and fit free smoke     

 alarms, where appropriate.         5/6
