 Sussex in command at rainy Hove    1/4 

 Six Gloucestershire batsmen failed to  

 get into double figures as Sussex      

 prospered on a second day at Hove badly

 affected by poor weather.              

                                        

 Just 65 overs were bowled, with the    

 hosts progressing from an overnight 97-

 4 to 191, Jon Lewis taking 4-62 and Tim

 Ambrose adding a lusty 31.             

                                        

 In reply, Gloucestershire slumped to   

 127-8 at stumps - 64 runs adrift.      

                                        

 Craig Spearman made a gutsy 48 but only

 Stephen Adshead (20no) offered support,

 with Naved-ul-Hasan taking 3-24.
