 HAVING CANCER CAN BE EXPENSIVE         

 Cancer patients are being forced to    

 bear the massive financial burden of   

 changes in NHS treatment, suggests a   

 new report by Macmillan Cancer Relief. 

                                        

 Cancer patients are spending an average

 of £380  on travel for life-saving     

 treatment, according to a new study.   

                                        

 Three in four hospitals charge patients

 for parking and only one in five said  

 they promoted a scheme that allows     

 cancer patients to claim money back.   

                                        

 Cancer patients often have to give up  

 work and live on a low income.
