 MILLS ON THE ROAD TO FITNESS           

                                        

 Rushden & Diamonds midfielder Gary     

 Mills has stepped up his comeback from 

 injury after completing 62 minutes of  

 reserve-team football.                 

                                        

 The Diamonds' second string drew 1-1   

 with Notts County on Tuesday afternoon 

 and Mills made his second outing in as 

 many weeks, suffering no ill effects.  

                                        

 The Nene Park match also featured      

 former Spurs and QPR forward Steve     

 Slade, who is on trial with Rushden.
