 BEST'S CONDITION IMPROVES              

                                        

 George Best is out of immediate danger 

 and could soon be moved from intensive 

 care as he fights a serious kidney     

 infection, according to his doctor.    

                                        

 Professor Roger Williams said Best's   

 condition wasn't directly linked to his

 well-documented battle with alcoholism.

                                        

 And he added: "He is not as fit as he  

 was six months ago and he is going to  

 need a good spell of recovery to get   

 back to where he was."
