 THOMPSON MAKES ROVERS RETURN     

                                        

 Rovers midfielder David Thompson played

 70 minutes of a reserve game on Monday 

 evening in his first outing since      

 undergoing knee surgery in the summer. 

                                        

 Thompson set up Andy Taylor for the    

 first goal in a 2-0 win over West Brom 

 before being withdrawn.                

                                        

 Keith Barker added a second near the   

 end, converting a Jemal Johnson as     

 Rovers' second string matched          

 Saturday's result against the Baggies.
