 Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard says  

 his "silence" gesture towards Liverpool

 fans after scoring in the win on Sunday

 was his way of proving a point.        

                                        

 Lampard was booked for unsporting      

 behaviour by Graham Poll after netting 

 the opening goal, but will face no     

 further punishment from the FA.        

                                        

 But he said: "I'd taken a lot of stick 

 and that was why I did it. It was my   

 way of being light-hearted about it."
