BARKER WAS PURE GOLD - CORBETT
Ronnie Barker began his TV comedy
career in The Frost Report in the '60s.
Co-star John Cleese said: "I was very
sad to hear of the death of Ronnie
Barker, who was such a warm, friendly
and encouraging presence."
Fellow Monty Python star Michael Palin
said: "I can't think of anyone who knew
how to play comedy better. Ronnie had
this extraordinary ability to make the
nation laugh, probably more often than
anyone else I know."
