 BBC PAYS TRIBUTE TO RONNIE BARKER      

                                        

 Tonight BBC1 is to screen a special    

 tribute to comedian Ronnie Barker who  

 has died after a long illness.         

                                        

 The programme to celebrate Barker's    

 life will be shown at 10.35pm. BBC1    

 will also repeat last year's Bafta     

 Tribute To Ronnie Barker on October 7  

 at 9pm↑                                

                                        

 The tribute was hosted by Two Ronnies  

 co-star Ronnie Corbett and featured    

 David Jason, John Cleese, Michael Palin

 and others who worked with him.
