 COMIC RONNIE BARKER DIES               

                                        

 Comedian Ronnie Barker has died at the 

 age of 76 following a long battle with 

 heart trouble.                         

                                        

 The TV legend was one of the most loved

 and respected comedy performers of his 

 generation, best known as one half of  

 the double act The Two Ronnies with    

 Ronnie Corbett.                        

                                        

 According to his agent Rosalind Chatto,

 Barker died yesterday at 12.15pm with  

 his wife Joy at his side.
