 Despite both Des Lynam and Carol       

 Vorderman living down south Countdown  

 will continue to be produced in Leeds. 

                                        

 "It needs to stay in Leeds because     

 that's part of its charm. It's had the 

 same crew working on it for 20 years,  

 even the same cameramen - I call them  

 my boys," says Carol.                  

                                        

 "They're all a bit tired, most of them 

 are retired but they come out of
