COMIC RONNIE BARKER DIES
Funnyman Ronnie Barker has died
following a battle with heart disease.
The 76-year-old, who originally trained
as an architect before going into
showbusiness, passed away with his wife
by his side yesterday afternoon.
The Open All Hours and Porridge star
had been suffering from heart disease
for some time and failed to show up at
an awards ceremony just last week due
to his failing health.
