 Ronnie Barker, who has died after a    

 long illness at the age of 76, wrote   

 and starred in The Two Ronnies, which  

 had 18 million viewers at its height.  

                                        

 The sketch Four Candles, in which      

 Barker attempts to buy "fork handles"  

 at a hardware store, has been voted the

 best Two Ronnies sketch ever.          

                                        

 Other well-known comedy moments include

 the Mastermind sketch and the two      

 constantly bickering tramps.
