 While working on Frost On Sunday,      

 Ronnie Barker put his comedy brain to  

 work on sketches which he wrote for the

 show under the pseudonym Gerald Wiley. 

                                        

 Barker often used a false name when    

 writing scripts to ensure that his work

 was considered on merit rather than    

 because of who he was.                 

                                        

 When his cover was eventually blown,   

 "Wiley" continued to write and produced

 some of the best sketches on the show.
