 Congratulations to EastEnders for doing

 so well in the latest awards. But, even

 though fans still love it, it's not    

 been their best year.                  

                                        

 There are moments when Enders is back  

 on form. We've seen Kat and Little Mo  

 and the hilarious Peggy and Chrissie   

 graveside confrontation.               

                                        

 But there are scenes which make my toes

 curl with embarrassment. With Sharon,  

 Dennis, Chrissie, Kat and Alfie all    

 leaving, the soap needs to develop some

 great new characters pronto.
