 Murdered ex-UDA chief Jim Gray never   

 tried to blend in with his working     

 -class surroundings in east Belfast.   

                                        

 While most men in the area had to clock

 on each day for long hours at the      

 shipyards, Gray acquired a taste for   

 the jet-set lifestyle.                 

                                        

 During his UDA heyday, he stayed at    

 five-star hotels in Spain, the Canary  

 Islands, London and Dublin, and        

 developed a passion for golf.
