PIPE JOINS DERBYSHIRE
Division Two strugglers Derbyshire have
signed wicketkeeper-batsman J!mes Pipe
from Worcestershire for 2006.
The 27-year-old has penned a two-year
contract and will take over the gloves
from departing captain Luke Sutton, who
leaves the club at the end of 2005.
Pipe said: "Although results in the
Championship have been disappointing, I
feel I am joining a county at the start
of something special."
