 MILLIONS FACING ENDOWMENT SHORTFALL    

                                        

 Around 4.5m homeowners are estimated to

 be at risk from endowment policies     

 failing to produce enough cash to pay  

 off their mortgages.                   

                                        

 Many are hoping mis-selling complaints 

 will help redress some of the balance  

 with millions more still uncertain what

 to do.                                 

                                        

 Compensation for endowment holders is  

 not guaranteed and many face funding at

 least some of the shortfall themselves.
