STARS HIT HIGH N/TES WITH MUSICALS SHOW
Having struck gold with Strictly Come
Dancing, BBC1 is turning to the glitz
and glamour of musicals for what it
hopes will be a Saturday night hit.
Simply Musicals will feature six stars
belting out show-stoppers from West End
and Broadway spectaculars such as
Chicago, My Fair Lady and Billy Elliot.
Those reaching for the high notes will
include Doctor Who star John Barrowman,
who played dashing Captain Jack, and
guest stars such as Les Dennis.
