 WORCESTER: WORCS v LEICS, Day 4        

 Ben Smith and Gareth Batty survived the

 final session to ensure a draw for the 

 hosts, who had been a perilous 142-5 at

 tea, chasing 371 for victory.          

                                        

 Leicestershire, 177-4 overnight, had   

 moved to 255-5 before declaring, with  

 Aftab Habib unbeaten on 90. Chris Gayle

 cracked a swift 57 but Worcestershire  

 slipped to 87-4 before Smith (87no)    

 found allies in Steven Davies (29) and 

 Batty (52no) to take them to 258-5.
