A MILLION 'IGNORE' CHILD TRUST FUND
Parents who delay opening a Child Trust
Fund account by even six months could
see their child miss out on over £1,500
when they reach 18, says The Children's
Mutual, a savings provider.
"The annual allowance for topping up
the CTF account, by up to £100 a month,
runs from the child's birthday rather
than the financial year," it explains.
"It is important that parents of kids
with summer birthdays invest now."
