 ■ On Monday August 8 police were called

   to Air Nite Clua in Heath Mill Lane, 

   Birmingham city centre at 1.35am. It 

   is believed a group of men had tried 

   to force their way into the club and 

   there was an altercation during which

   shots were fired. A dog belonging to 

   one of the security team received a  

   gun shot wound.                      

                                        

 ■ It is believed one of the offenders  

   may have received a bite from the    

   dog during the incident.
