 Echinacea purpurea - White swan        

 This tough plant comes from the        

 prairies of North America so will cope 

 well with open sunny conditions.       

                                        

 Produces large, white, daisy-type      

 flowers on strong stems from mid-summer

 to early autumn. The petals hang down  

 backwards from the cone-shaped,        

 orangey-yellow central disc, giving the

 flowers an unusual comet shape. Grow in

 full sun. Grow in partial shade as long

 as the ground is freely drained.
