Pat Dobbs was conscious and lucid in
Royal Gwent Hospital after he took a
nasty fall at Chepstow.
"Pat is OK but he has hurt his back,
although he is talking," said assistant
trainer Richard Hannon Junior.
It is the second time a jockey has
suffered a fall in the last five days
at Chepstow. Rider Jean-Pierre
Guillambert said: "It seems to be in
the same spot. They've put lots of sand
on it but it's just not filling it."
