Shalapour, a best-priced 10-1 for the
St Leger at Doncaster, has been ruled
out of the September 10 clash.
Trainer John Oxx explained: "We're
going to run him in the Irish Leger
(September 17) to give him an extra
week to recharge his batteries.
"If we give him a bit more time that
should suit him better. He's been
coming along nicely in his work and we
are happy with him. The step up to a
mile and six shouldn't be a problem."
