 KATRINA THREATENS LOUISIANA MOVIES     

                                        

 The devastation caused by Hurricane    

 Katrina could decimate Louisiana's     

 progress as a popular location with    

 Hollywood film-makers.                 

                                        

 Double-Oscar winner Hilary Swank and   

 the rest of the crew on The Reaping    

 were evacuated by plane from filming in

 Baton Rouge, close to New Orleans.     

                                        

 Jack Kyser, chief economist at the LA  

 Economic Development Corporation, said:

 "New Orleans is not going to be a good 

 filming location for several years."
