 RELEGATION HOLES SOUTHAMPTON PROFIT    

                                        

 Southampton's poor season ending in    

 relegation after 27 years from the FA  

 Premier League hit annual earnings.    

                                        

 Southampton Leisure reported revenue   

 fell from £49.8m to £44.8m and pre-tax 

 profit from £2.9m to £200,000, despite 

 a one-off gain from the completion and 

 sale of a housing development at the   

 club's old ground.                     

                                        

 Relegation will hit broadcasting income

 alone by £18m this year.
