 Gus Van Sant's Last Days is inspired by

 Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain's final   

 week. This fictional account sees a    

 Cobainesque musician wander through his

 home and the woods surrounding it,     

 doing the most mundane things.         

                                        

 Like Van Sant's unbelievably tedious   

 but still intriguing Gerry this film   

 has very little action and requires the

 patience of a saint.                   

                                        

 It doesn't say much about Cobain but   

 there are some haunting moments.
