 COMEDY THAT'S ON THE BALL              

                                        

 While Mark Dolan is no stranger to set-

 up comedy, he's safely ensconced out of

 harm's way as host of Balls Of Steel.  

                                        

 "They knew my past would earn me a bit 

 of respect," he says. "But the spirit  

 of this show is about people we haven't

 seen before telling us their jokes.    

                                        

 "Plus, I don't have an unending        

 appetite for putting the public through

 hell. There came a point when I just   

 wanted to be in a comfortable studio."
