 NEW EURO HEALTH CARD FOR TRAVELLERS    

                                        

 A Department of Health survey showing  

 ignorance of the need for E111 or new  

 EHIC cards in continental Euqope shows 

 people do not know these forms are as  

 important as private travel insurance. 

                                        

 The DoH said a new European Health     

 Insurance Card, providing UK residents 

 free or reduced cost healthcare in the 

 EU, must not be taken out in isolation.

                                        

 The EHIC and private travel insurance  

 forms complement each other.
