Talking about the one thing he would
have done differently when he moved to
Spain to work, Tyler Martin, editor of
spainexpat.com, is adamant.
"I'd have learnt at least some
Spanish," he says.
But be warned: with three semi-official
languages in Spain, many expats are
frustrated by the locals' apparent
disdain that they have chosen to learn
Spanish instead of the region's tongue.
