plan what you are doing carefully.
"The most common mistake is getting the
order of work wrong," says Jason Orme,
editor of Homebuilding & Renovating.
"People do jobs such as adding new
lights and replastering, only to find
that the plaster has to come off to
enable them to do more plumbing and
wiring. And people are overoptimistic
in terms of the schedule of works."
