NETWORKS RALLY TO AID HURRICANE VICTIMS
US TV networks are doing their bit to
help raise funds for victims of
Hurricane Katrina.
NBC is to televise a charity concert
featuring performers including crooner
Harry Connick Jr. who was born in
stricken New Orleans.
MTV, VH1 and CMT also plan to simulcast
a relief concert on September 10
featuring Green Day and Alicia Keys. A
tsunami relief concert on NBC in
January raised more than £11m.
