 I WAS A PERRIER COMEDY AWARD JUDGE     

                                        

 Award director Nica Burns has said     

 that, after 25 years of the Perriers,  

 it's time for changes in the future.   

                                        

 Should there be a "senior" award? (I   

 don't think so.) Or several specific   

 categories - Stand-up, Character Comic,

 Sketches etc? (Again, no, that would   

 make it too bitty.)                    

                                        

 With five of this year's 10 judges     

 being broadcast executives, there's a  

 real need for these live comedy awards 

 to get judges from the live sector.
