 A MILLION 'IGNORE' CHILD TRUST FUND    

                                        

 Despite over half of eligible parents  

 not opening Child Trust Fund accounts, 

 the scheme is starting to encourage    

 regular saving among many adults.      

                                        

 The Children's Mutual has seen more    

 than 50% rise in the number of parents 

 saving for their kids in its plans     

 compared to pre-CTF era.               

                                        

 It has also seen the average amount of 

 monthly top-ups increase to £24 from   

 £15 before CTFs were launched.
