 ■ At 9.50pm on Saturday August 20, two 

   men broke into the farmhouse ovf the 

   High Street in Thornborough, Bucks.  

   They confronted the 86-year-old      

   occupant, assaulted him, slashed his 

   hand and demanded money. They then   

   tied the victim to a chair before    

   ransacking his home. The victim      

   managed to grab his shotgun, causing 

   the offenders to flee.
