Jury in Mary-Ann trial discharged
A jury hearing the case against six men
accused of torturing and stabbing to
death a 16-year-old girl has been
discharged by the judge.
The body of Mary-Ann Leneghan was found
in Reading's Prospect Park in May 2005.
Her 18-year-old friend was found alive
with a bullet wound in her head.
Six men deny charges of causing
grievous bodily harm with intent, rape,
murder, attempted murder and kidnap.
The process of selecting a fresh jury
has begun.
