 Eriksson denies he wants to quit       

 Sven-Goran Eriksson has been trying to 

 convince football fans he's the right  

 man for England after newspaper stories

 about his future.                      

                                        

 Reports suggested he isn't planning to 

 stay after the World Cup, but Eriksson 

 denied he wants to leave.              

                                        

 Sven had been talking to a man he      

 thought was a rich Arab sheikh wanting 

 to buy Aston Villa, but he was really a

 journalist.
