 Simpson becomes a father aged 61       

 BBC world affairs editor John Simpson  

 is celebrating becoming a father for   

 the third time, at the age of 61.      

                                        

 The boy is a first child for the       

 journalist and his wife Dee, who is 19 

 years younger than him.                

                                        

 "It's a really lovely feeling and we're

 both delighted," said Simpson, who has 

 two daughters in their 30s from his    

 first marriage, and grandchildren.     

                                        

 He recently admitted that "of course   

 there are going to be problems" with   

 late fatherhood.
